Any news about the Region 2 DVD?
ReplyDeleteIn the works - will let you know when we have more details.
ReplyDeleteOh this is awesome, thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteYour film was mentioned on the Wailin' Jennys' website http://www.thewailinjennys.com/
ReplyDeleteI was struck because I just read about "Cake Eaters" in a book, "How The Beatles Destroyed Rock 'n' Roll" by Elijah Wald. It's an awesome revision of American pop music since 1890 or so. Wonderful. His dad described rival groups in 1921 Brooklyn dance clubs – there were Cake Eaters and Finale Hoppers. It seems they were kind of a big deal. Cake eaters wore tight collars. His dad was a finale hopper, they wore goulashes all year or something.
Fabulous hours of conversation. http://www.elijahwald.com/

ReplyDeleteJust watched the movie. Great stuff... I liked it a whole lot. I'm surprised I hadn't heard anything about it before (then again, movies like these get no promotion at all in my country). Great soundtrack as well. I can't stress how much I liked it. Great job.

My understanding is the when mflow.com becomes universally available online, they are going to have As Shadows Do. Near as I can tell, only subscribers in the UK can access the site presently but I am basing that on what I see when I visit the web site. I'm thankful to Mary Stuart Masterson for not only making this awesome movie but for at least providing the tracks since there is no official soundtrack. Isn't it amazing that so many who have seen the move all want the same songs that we can't seem to get? Nice choice of tracks! Thanks.
